I can (and have) tested the template/presentation across 2 MacBook Pros and 1 PC laptop. In the Word Options window, click the Save category. I've tried building the template from scratch on a PC and a Mac, but continue running into the same problem. I like sans serif fonts for subtitle and. Sans-Serif is Francais for without serif. My favorite serif fonts for readability are Droid Serif, Lora and Roboto Slab. Serif fonts are excellent choices for slide titles at a much bigger size.

All the fonts were purchased together with similar licensing restrictions, so I don't understand why Myriad Pro Regular or other variations don't throw up the same error. A quick primer on these terms: Serif fonts are distinguished by a small line attached to the end of a stroke in each letter or symbol (a serif). What's even more frustrating is that the error only seems to apply to Myriad Pro Light. However, I keep getting a "General Failure" error message when I open the presentation/template on machines that don't have the fonts installed. With the recent addition of the ability to embed fonts in the Mac version of PowerPoint, I thought it would be easy. As such, we're using a licensed font (Myriad Pro). I'm creating a new PowerPoint template for use across our company.
